About

Big Crops, Small Spaces, Real Food

Grow Pocket Harvest exists for one reason: you don’t need a yard to grow your own vegetables. Renters, apartment dwellers, and anyone with a sunny balcony, windowsill, or bit of railing can grow real food in containers — you just need the right plant, the right pot, and a little guidance.

This site is built for beginners. Every guide assumes you’re starting from zero: no gardening background, no acreage, no specialized equipment. What you will find is specific, practical advice — minimum container sizes, sunlight needs, how long until harvest, and the beginner mistakes worth avoiding (overwatering tops the list).

What You’ll Find Here

Guides are organized around five pillars: Balcony Greens, Pot & Tub Veggies, Windowbox Herbs, Pocket Vertical growing, and the soil-and-watering basics that tie it all together. Wherever you’re starting, there’s a next step here for you.

A Note on Recommendations

Some pages link to products we think are genuinely useful for small-space growing — containers, soil, self-watering gear. Some of those are affiliate links, which means we may earn a small commission at no extra cost to you. Full details are on our Affiliate Disclosure page. We only recommend what we’d actually use ourselves.
